Regan Golden is an artist, writer and critic, her current art/writing project is Interaction with a Picture of a Forest, a collection of graphite drawings, altered photographs, found maps and essays about the New England woods, real and imagined. She started drawing and photographing the woods in 2006 with an M.F.A. grant from the Joan Mitchell Foundation, portions of this project have since been exhibited nationally, including a solo show at the Rochester Art Center in 2009. Golden recently completed the Critical Studies residency at the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and an artist residency at the Harvard Forest of Harvard University. Born in Minneapolis, MN and lives in Chicago, IL.
